7/6/2023 0 Comments Super mega worm vs santa"Well I'm sorry you didn't get that bike you wanted Little Timmy, but a giant worm attacked the North Pole and ate Santa. While most other games have you celebrating the holiday this is a game which finds players trying to actively destroy it, much to their glee. It's pretty funny how Dead Pixel has decided to get into the same Christmas spirit that seems to be popping up in several other App Store titles these days. Oh, and did we also mention you're trying to eat Santa? I mean come on now what is there not to love about this? The game features 15 new North Pole themed levels alongside 15 new items to eat, three new super powers and two different game modes. The new title will be a separate release from the standard Super Mega Worm and will retail for 99 cents. Santa, and the North Pole is no longer safe. Well now you can as Dead Pixel has announced that the world-destroying worm is returning to wreak a terrible vengeance on none other than Santa Claus himself. If you had your fill of the games long ago and you're not big on the idea of a Christmas re-skin, you can safely avoid the Santa Saga.Super Mega Worm is such a wonderful guilty pleasure that you can be excused for wanting to dig back in once again. If you're a collector of all things Wojira, it's good value and fun to plow through. What you see is what you get with the Super Mega Worm series, and the same holds true for Super Mega Worm vs Santa Saga. By chaining EMPs, Wojira can remain airborne for quite some time and feed in the air, far above the traps and land mines bristling below him. Wojira's greatest power is arguably his ability to create an electromagnetic pulse (EMP), which he can use to jump into the air and stun nearby elves. He also gains special powers, like the ability to spit acid or fire, or shoot ice-spikes in all directions. Racing through the dirt and breaking through the surface in a giant leap like some demented dolphin is great fun - particularly when you pull off a combo and gulp down four or five elves in a single jump.Īs Wojira eats, he grows new body segments and becomes faster. Wojira needs to eat elves to grow, but he also needs to watch his step or else his legacy will end in a hail of gunfire. That all ends when the elves figure out where Santa hides the Uzis and the land mines. In the Super Mega Worm games, Wojira begins life as a (comparatively) tiny worm, and he meets little resistance when he first hatches. The series' gameplay remains as simple and addictive as it was back in 2010. You are Christmas dinnerīut it's hard to imagine there's anyone out there who can resist getting sucked into Super Mega Worm's gaping maw. If you've already gone up against Santa and Mecha-Santa, or if you're just not a fan of the action-heavy (albeit mindless) Super Mega Worm games, there's nothing to see here. Not a bad deal if you've yet to own either game, or if you've yet to try a Super Mega Worm game at all. Yes, Super Mega Worm vs Santa and its sequel Super Mega Worm vs Santa 2 throw you up against the Fat Man himself, though you need to wade through legions of his elves before you even catch a glimpse of the red suit.ĭeceased Pixel's Super Mega Worm vs Santa Saga collects both previously-released Super Mega Worm vs Santa games under one price. The success of Super Mega Worm has resulted in some spin-offs, including two Christmas-themed titles that pit the monster against Santa Claus. Part centipede and part Graboid from the Tremors movies, Wojira digs through the earth in each of the Super Mega Worm games, surfacing only to chow down on hapless surface-dwellers. If you own a mobile device of any kind, it's a good bet you've already played one of the Super Mega Worm games and thus made the acquaintance of Wojira, the prophesied doom-bringer. It would be more appropriate in the circumstances to scream and flail. Wojira is comin' to town, so you'd better not shout, and you'd better not cry.
